Organizing Efforts Continue for Workers at Case/IH in Texas, Tennessee and Georgia
The UAW continues organizing efforts across the United States. In Region 8 there are currently organizing drives Case IH Agricultural Equipment in Texas, Tennessee and Georgia. “Agricultural implements occupy a large footprint of our membership,” states Region 8 Assistant Director Tim Smith. “Collective bargaining has improved the lives of many workers within this industry and we want to make sure that all who prefer union representation have a chance to be heard.”
In Greenville, Texas members of UAW Local 967 have been assisting with organizing efforts. Recently Local 967 members Frank Spingola and Tim Flaherty passed out union literature to Case workers in Greenville. |
